Quality and Inventory Associate

**Position**: Full time - Quality and Inventory Associate

**Location**: St. Thomas, ON

**Expected Start Date**: As soon as possible

**Hourly Pay Rate**:$18.00 - $20.00/hr

SBI operates five lines of business servicing the domestic and global cannabis industry including: wholesale product distribution, a consumer brands portfolio, a medical marketplace, a full-service medical cannabis clinic, and a retail “farm-gate” store located at our production facilities in St. Thomas, Ontario.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Receive and process all incoming shipments in a timely manner, ensuring order received is accurate.
- Monitor inventory levels daily and perform weekly cycle counts to ensure accuracy within the inventory systems.
- Ability to read and understand purchase orders, packing slips and other common warehouse documents to ship product/fulfill orders.
- Perform final inspection of delivery for order completeness and quality.
- Accurately pick, box, and weigh orders for outgoing shipments in time for daily pick up.
- Work with computer system to retrieve orders, print invoices/packing slips, and generate shipping labels.
- Utilizing inventory management software as required.
- Setup and arrange shipment pickups and logistics, communicate with shipping companies to resolve any delivery issues.
- Ensure organization of shipping area and assist with cleaning and maintaining a safe workplace environment.
- Assist in various areas of production as needed.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years experience with shipping and receiving work experience in CPG or food manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and be able to multi-task production duties.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Strong computer skills required in Excel (i.e., filter, sort, formulas), with the ability to leverage technology to provide efficiency and accuracy.
- Ability to safely lift 40lbs.
- Experience with cannabis inventory and ERP system is an asset.
- Knowledge of basic of safety procedures.
- Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in cannabis industry is considered an asset.
- Forklift certification and experience is considered an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
