**Division**
**Arrow Precision Machining** is a contract machine shop with a full range of machining services. Our capabilities include CNC machining, precision grinding, manual turning and milling, plus a full inspection service.
Hiring for 1 Day Shift (Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:15pm) and 1 Afternoon Shift (Monday - Thursday, 3:00 pm - 1:30am)
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and develop new product integration including gauging, ITP, first article inspection.
- Ability to run a CMM in both manual and auto mode.
- Ability to program CMM with Calypso & MCOSMOS software
- Conduct initial qualification testing of manufactured/machined products during preproduction and prototype stages.
- Assist in set up, provide required gauging and conduct First Off Inspections.
- Provide technical support for Machined, Welded and Assembled products.
- Participate in solving quality problems including supplier, internal, and customer.
- Ensure necessary quality-related tools and procedures are available, controlled and used correctly and efficiently
- Assist in conducting inspection and testing finished products, raw materials and subcontracted intermediate products.
- Ensure the orderliness, cleanliness and efficiency of the Quality Department.
**Educational Requirements**:
- Degree or diploma in Quality Technician, Engineering Technician or equivalent experience
- Certified Quality Technician (CQT) from ASQ or equivalent certification. (preferred)
**Required Skills & Expertise**:
- 3-5 years’ experience in quality management, product testing or inspection.
- Must be familiar with customer ISO, first article inspection and data entry tools.
- Must have a working knowledge of CMM programming, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) and be able to read blueprints.
- Must be proficient in the use of computers in the analysis of data.
- Must possess a working knowledge of manufacturing process control.
- Ability to pass a vision test for colour & acuity
**Equipment/ Tools/ Technology Used**:
- Proficiency in CMM programming and operation (Calypso, MCOSMOS, or equivalent software).
- Proficiency in using hand tools for precision measurement (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
**Working Conditions**:
- Work is performed in a manufacturing and quality lab environment.
- May involve exposure to machinery, noise, and occasional lifting of parts or equipment.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
