**Job Summary**

We are seeking an enthusiastic, pet-loving **Retail Sales Associate** to join our dynamic team. You will be the face of Raw for Pets, assisting customers, providing product recommendations, and ensuring our retail space is welcoming, organized, and running smoothly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the store team with occasional in-store events and workshops.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Provide excellent customer service and product education.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Utilize the Point of Sale (POS) system to process sales and manage inventory.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Educate customers on raw feeding, treats, supplements, and other product lines.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, product features, and technology sales to effectively communicate with customers
- Answer customer inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy,demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
- Assist with merchandising, stocking, and inventory counts
- Organize merchandise displays to create an appealing shopping environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts

**Skills**:

- Proficient in cash handling and financial transactions.
- Strong phone etiquette skills for effective communication with customers.
- Experience or interest in technology sales is a plus.
- Ability to sell products confidently and engage customers in conversation about their needs.
- Skilled in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining store displays and inventory management.
- Proficiency with POS systems for processing transactions smoothly

**Qualifications**:

- Retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for pets and interest in raw feeding or pet wellness is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
