Our production team is the backbone of crafting our delicious snacks from start to finish, ensuring they are made safely and tastefully. As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee the entire production process, from prepping fresh ingredients to monitoring cooking and packaging operations. You will lead and mentor your team, ensuring that all safety and quality standards are met.

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining a clean and organized production area while optimizing workflow for maximum efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills, including equipment maintenance and process improvement, all while guiding a dedicated team focused on delivering top-notch products. Your leadership will be key in fostering a culture of quality and excellence in our production line.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide leadership and motivate employees to continually improve performance and results while achieving daily productivity targets.
- Focuses on improving product quality standards, maximizing production efficiency, and minimizing waste.
- Schedules employees to production shifts within a multi-shift environment.
- Directs staff to ensure schedules and other business objectives are prioritized and completed in a timely manner.
- Coordinates and assigns sanitation duties as required.
- Identifies quality issues and makes decision based on established guidelines.
- Action oriented and proactive in coaching, empowering, and problem solving with other members of the team.
- Develops and maintains a safe working environment and ensures continued compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
- Complies with all safety policy, accident prevention, and compliance programs; reviews work areas for potential issues that could result in losses.
- Flexible, capable, and willing to be “hands on” to perform any other technical or production related tasks.
- Creates a workforce culture of excellence where employees are engaged contributors to the success of the business.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Relevant post-secondary education in Engineering, Food Science, Business, Operations Management.
- 5+ Years Supervisor experience in Manufacturing/Food Industry.
- **First Aid Certificate Required**:

- **Forklift License Required**:

- **Level 2 First Aid**:

- Qualifications in logistics and/or recognized safety programs.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment and mechanical aptitude are definite assets.
- Superior communications skills and the ability to deal with a variety of front-line challenges in a proactive manner.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
- Knowledge of GMP’s within a food manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills.
- Adept with Microsoft Office.
- Working shift work and weekends

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:

- This position requires successful completion of a clear background check prior to start date.
- Must be available to work the Weekend Shift on a full-time basis from 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM Friday - Sunday
- Starting wage is $60,000 annually
- Steel Toed Safety Shoes are required, Personal Protective Equipment will be provided onsite.
