**Speakeasy Cannabis Company **is looking to add an enthusiastic **Keyholder/Supervisor** to our team at our **Ayr** store location.

Speakeasy Cannabis is giving preference to individuals who are currently qualified Budtenders with retail supervisory experience.

As advocates of responsible and sustainable cannabis consumption, Speakeasy Cannabis focus is to educate and build our cannabis community. Our goal is to provide customers with a wide selection of quality products, with our knowledgeable and personable team to assist with each individual need in a safe, stress-free environment.

All applicants must be the minimum age of 19 with a Cannsell and a criminal record check. Applicants with flexible availability for varying shifts including days, evenings and weekends.

- **Position Overview**:_

The keyholder/supervisor shares responsibility in the overall function and flow of the day-to-day retail store operations. The ability to work independently and with remote supervision is critical for success in this position.
- **What we require**:_

As an integral part of the Leadership team, you will know how to react to the business needs, to account for the fluctuation in traffic throughout the day. You will oversee and assist with the financial transactions and cash handling for the business. You will inform customers about promotions, new products, and up-sales opportunities. You will also attend to our customers in their pleased and displeased states. Your leadership and interpersonal skills will allow you to transition negative moments into positive outcomes and customer retention.
- **Requirements and Qualifications**:_
- Pre-employment Criminal Record Check.
- CannSell, Ontario Standard Certificate.
- Desire and the ability to develop a positive, in-depth understanding of cannabis.
- 2 years plus experience in a similar scope of role successfully leading a team.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle cash, POS register and all sales transactions.
- Proven track record with demonstrated sales and customer service skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently/unsupervised.
- Exemplary communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and train and educate others in processes, procedures, and products.
- Meet the physical demands of a retail environment including transporting up to 5 lbs.
- Able to take direction from corporate management and to ask questions as needed in order to operate efficiently and successfully.
- Technologically proficient in use with tablets, MS Office, Google Docs and Zoom.
- Able to learn operating systems such as Dutchie and Greenline.
- Education in business administration, sales or relevant field is desirable.
- **Typical responsibilities of the job include**:_
- Regularly opening and closing the store.
- Staff management, training, supervising and appraising staff.
- Helping with customer queries and concerns.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory bodies including Federal and Provincial, employment standards, health and safety and AGCO.
- Sales and Money Management.
- Maximizing profitability and meeting sales targets with and through the team.
- Coach and direct team members to carry out their daily duties.
- Interacting with the local community and marketing.
