As a Full-Time Cashier/Sales Associate for Adrenalin Source for Sports Macleod, you provide exceptional customer service to all the customers that walk through our door. You represent the Adrenalin Source for Sports brand and contribute to both a customer’s experience and level of satisfaction The Cashiers/Sales Associate role at Adrenalin Source for Sports extends well beyond transactions, these team members are an integral part of the retail experience for our customers and the success of Adrenalin as a leading sports retailer in Southern Alberta

**Our Cashiers/Sales Associates**:

- Have a high level of energy and a passion for sports.
- Welcome customers at the door and engage with them on the sales floor setting the tone for their shopping experience.
- Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately in accordance with established cash control procedures and customer service guidelines.
- Ensure till area is clean, neat, organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Learn as much as possible about the products Adrenalin Source for Sports sells. This knowledge enables them to answer customer queries confidently.
- Ensure returned merchandise is restocked to the correct product location on the sales floor; all damaged and defective merchandise is properly labelled and placed in appropriate area at the end of each shift.
- Resolve customer concerns in a manner consistent with company policy, and with customer satisfaction in mind, partner with store leadership team on elevated customer issues.
- Respond to telephone calls and customer inquiries in a professional manner.
- Support store management in developing our customer base by thanking, re-assuring, and re-inviting our customers back to the store.
- Understand and adhere to all company policy and procedures.
- Can lift and carry up to 40lbs.
- Perform opening and closing duties which will include cleaning duties.
- Is punctual, dependable, and professional.
- Has a passion for sports, especially baseball, lacrosse, and hockey.
- Has related work experience: preferably, six months of operating a cash register in a high-volume retail store.
- Has previous general work experience, or equivalent formal education: high school.
- Has strong attention to detail.
- Is able and willing to take direction.
- Can work well independently, or as part of a team.
- Is customer service oriented.
- Has excellent communication skills and effective organizational skills.
- Is willing to work retail hours (evenings & weekends)
