Retail Sales Associate

**Duties**:

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations based on their needs.
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging merchandise displays.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems for processing transactions.
- Organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy and keep the sales floor tidy.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating discounts or change.
- Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred.
- Knowledge in merchandising is an asset
- Fluent in English (verbal and written communication).
- Police clearance will be required on upon request
- Reliable and trustworthy

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week

- Secondary School (preferred)
