**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Registration**: Efficiently register new and returning patients.
- **Appointment Management**: Book, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
- **Record Management**: Be proficient in sifting through, retrieving and saving medical records accurately and efficiently. Client confidentiality is a necessity.
- **Workstation Maintenance**: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- **Patient Interaction**: Handle telephone calls professionally, speak confidently and empathetically with patients and their families.

**Desired Skills (Optional but an Asset)**:

- **Experience in vaccination administration** or willing to be trained and certified (paid time).
- **Bilingualism**: Proficiency in both English and French is an asset but not compulsory.

**Qualifications and Attributes**:

- Proven experience as a Medical Office Assistant in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of medical records and patient confidentiality.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically Telus PS Suite.
- Occasionally assist in clinical examinations or procedures where applicable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A compassionate and professional demeanor.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
