**EDUCATION**
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Project Management: Lead and manage a variety of projects within the ED, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with department goals. Oversee project execution, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Prioritization & Coordination: Collaborate with ED leadership and team to effectively prioritize projects and manage competing priorities. Develop and maintain project timelines, tracking progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a effective liaison between the ED leadership and team members. Facilitate clear communication, provide updates, and ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with ED staff, leadership, and other stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment. Manage conflicts, address concerns, and maintain a positive working atmosphere.
- Change Management: Applies change management frameworks and effectively supports the ED team and key stakeholders to implement process improvements. Demonstrate flexibility and nimbleness in adjusting strategies and plans to meet emerging needs within the ED and maintain operational effectiveness.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in a healthcare or hospital setting. Clinical experience or familiarity with emergency department operations an asset. Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; ability to interact effectively with staff, physicians, and senior leadership.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Excellent ability to work effectively with diverse teams and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
- Excellent ability to work independently and demonstrating initiative.
