Job Title: Production Supervisor

The Opportunity

The Objectives of this Role
- Develops daily production schedule
- Ensures all jobs on production line are filled and staffed accordingly
- Ensures daily quotas are met
- Liaise with Quality, Demand Planning & Shipping/Receiving departments to ensure product flow and timelines are met for Retailers

What You’ll Do

Review all incoming orders to coordinate and plan production schedules that optimize production efficiency and execute daily quotas

Develop reports to track Key Performance Indicators for various area of production

Monitor and manage live production schedule to ensure timely delivery

Provide weekly updates on sale order assembly and fulfillment status and expected timeline of completion

Communicate delays to the Director of Operations while working with the Senior Team Leads to resolve issues on the floor

Investigate inventory through physical checks and database search as necessary to ensure sufficient inventory is available to fulfill all open sales orders

Ensure sufficient people are available to meet production quotas and adjust where necessary

Prepare daily and weekly schedules, review timesheets to ensure accuracy of all logged hours before approving and sending them to the finance team for payroll processing

Oversee training of new hires to ensure processes and procedures are clearly communicated and understood

Seek opportunities to optimize current processes

Oversee open orders and prioritizing customer orders while respecting customer deadlines and ensuring all materials required to achieve deadlines

Resolve Manufacturing/Production issues to meet all objectives, including Efficiencies, Quality standards, Safety standards and Customer Service Levels, Plant absolute/net attainment

Responsible for production of all new finished goods, timeline management and ensuring product is delivered and shipped to customers

Responsible for weekly updates to senior management teams on status of all production

Implement and maintain best practices in production planning

Management of senior team lead and team leads

Maintain culture and environment of department to ensure flow of processes
