**PROFILE**

Responsible for producing marketing and administrative document translation for the Firm, primarily from English to French, making sure that the format and content of the documents follow the Firm’s standards. The incumbent of this position receives regular coaching and guidance. Few tasks and objectives are performed independently.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Translate marketing and administrative documents as well as documents pertaining to legal matters (at times), or business support services documents from all areas within the Firm, ensuring Firm quality standards are met.
- Conduct terminological research to find the correct words or expressions based on context, ensuring translated text is easy to understand.
- Docket translated documents in the translation department’s database.
- Revise and proofread translated documents from other translation team members, as needed.
- Respond to queries from Firm members relating to language, grammar, spelling and Firm terminology.
- Maintain and update the translation database to ensure correct and reliable data.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary education in translation
- At least five (5) years of experience working in a full-time translation capacity, preferably in a professional services environment
- Fluent bilingualism (French/English)
- Ability to communicate with other Firm members, and to take care of clients’ needs in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Ability to produce a high quality and quantity of work, occasionally under tight timelines
- Ability to prioritize and redefine priorities when necessary
- Professional manner, works well under pressure
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Knowledge of translation tools, including computer-assisted translation, an asset

This is a contract that will end on January 1st 2026.
