**THE ROLE**:
You are a dedicated individual who thrives in a physically demanding and challenging role. You approach what you do with a clear understanding of the direct impact on the business and work extensively to take a safe and supportive approach to deliver the best possible results to our customers.

**Your key accountabilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Order selecting in all climates (dry, coolers, freezers);
- Proactively bring to the attention of management any operational issues as they develop and assist in finding a solution;
- Responding to employee inquiries regarding job processes and concerns;
- Operating an end-rider, reach truck, lift-truck, and tow-motor;
- Trained and efficient in other warehouse duties including: shipping, receiving, truck unloading, handling returns & customer pickups, restocking & inventory control; Sysco picking and verifying counts
- Housekeeping & recycling, minor maintenance;
- Safekeeping of company equipment and product, maintaining safety of yourself and those around you;
- Must demonstrate an adherence to all HACCP and Food Handling practices;
- A willingness to ensure customer satisfaction.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience in a warehouse environment, WHMIS, food safety, back care, end-rider is a must;
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written);
- Demonstrate knowledge of current or ongoing customer requirements, or new client set up in order to meet customer expectations;
- Team player skills with demonstrated abilities to interact well with all levels of associates and a proven ability to encourage and motivate others in a positive manner;
- Be physically fit to lift heavy product consistently (up to 40 kg) and enjoy an active career;
- Must have flexible schedule and be open to working weekends and statutory holidays.
