Provide logistical support to all departments. This may include the movement of all materials and products to and from all warehouse storage areas. Includes the receipt of all incoming material as well as the preparation, staging and loading of all domestic and export shipments. The incumbent will perform in a teamwork environment interacting with all Logistics Personnel, thus providing their customers (internal and external) with the highest possible level of service.**Work Shift:****Rotating shifts every two weeks.****Monday through Friday****1st rotation: 6:30am to 3:00pm****2nd rotation 2:30pm to 11:00pm (with 8% shift differential for this shift)**Location/Division Specific Information:Whitby / LogisticsHow Will You Make an Impact?:Work collaboratively with fellow team members, modelling positive team principles and partnering to meet project and departmental objectives.Carry out all duties within strict compliance to Patheon quality systems SOP''s and Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).Consistently strive to improve skills and knowledge in related field.A Day in the Life:Ensure safe, timely and accurate delivery of materials between all production and warehouse storge areas, while complying with all regulatory and internal procedures.Ensure safe, timely and accurate receipt of all inventory and non-inventory items, including inspection for damages, confirming quantities and repalletization.Ensure safe, timely and accurate loading of finished products and materials.Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience:Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field.Required: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers, forklifts)Preferred: Valid forklift certificate.Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Ability to multi-task, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and organization skills. Familiarity with cGMP, SAP, WHMIS and safety regulations. Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
