**About us**

Our goal is to Barrie GI Associates is committed to providing quality patient care with our team of 8 Gastroenterologists. We conduct Inflammatory Bowel Disease clinical research (UC and CD) at our practice.

Previous experience working with patients is key for this role. This is a Assistant role that would be an opportunity for exciting CV building and hard to achieve clinical research experience.

This position would be contingent only a working interview prior to hiring. If selected this would be a 16-24 hrs a week paid temporary position over the Course of Nov 4- Dec 5, 2025 only. After December 5th position would be terminated. Training would be provided prior to Nov 4 depending on the applicant's skill set of 1-3 weeks prior training which would include at home trainings to complete.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Management, Processing and Shipment of biospecimens including blood, urine, and stool if appropriate.
- Data management of all clinical trials, including entering data, resolving queries
- Filing of Study related documents in respective locations
- Additional study tasks and procedures required by protocol delegated by PI/Clinical Research Manager can be increased

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of University or College degree in a relevant field is an asset, but not required. High School Students are eligible to apply.
- Experience in clinical research not required but is an asset but not required.
- Good organizational, multitasking, time management skills and willingness to learn.
- Efficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, EMRs and Outlook
- Experience with lab processing is an asset but not required.
- Knowledge of IBD is an asset, but not required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per year
