**Job Summary**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. In this entry-level position, you will support the financial planning and analysis functions of the organization. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial reports, analyzing data, and providing insights to help drive business decisions. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their analytical skills and gain valuable experience in the finance industry.
**Responsibilities**:
- Review, verify and reconcile casual labor data.
- Prepare weekly and monthly tracking reports on casual labor.
- Coordinate, update and maintain the fixed asset registry and relevant schedules.
- Analyze and reconcile major GL accounts, including the maintenance of supporting schedules.
- Update CapEx budgets and progress reports.
- Analyze and reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Prepare and post standing and recurring journal entries.
- Prepare and post month-end and quarter-end accruals.
- Analyze and reconcile prepaid GL accounts.
- Review and post credit card and expense reports.
- Assist with preparation of cash flow forecasts.
- Assist with ERP implementation.
- Prepare ad hoc reports as required.
- Assist with annual audits.
- Participate in quarterly inventory counts.
- Provide recommendations on internal control procedures, system improvements and process enhancements.
