**Summary**:
The incumbent is responsible for performing the accounts payable function. The incumbent also performs support functions for special projects initiated by Finance.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Maintains vendor data base
- Process accounts payable invoices using a computerized system on a timely basis
- Review and process weekly expense claims
- Process cheques to vendors based on agreed upon credit terms
- Process wires and bill payments to vendors directly through online banking
- Coding of Purchase Requisitions to appropriate General Ledger accounts
- Maintenance of Cash Advance accounts
- Review and reconciliation of vendor account system
- Review and reconciliation of A/P General Ledger account to subsidiary ledger
- Review and reconciliation of various A/P related General Ledger accounts
- Participates in special projects such as preparing for year-end audit, assist with

budget preparation and any other related tasks and duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- College diploma in Business & Administration, majoring in Accounting
- Three (3) years’ experience in A/P preferably within a manufacturing

environment
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
- Above average computer skills including competence with fully integrated manufacturing software (Dynamics AX), Microsoft Office Suite, and Windows10.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written.
- Ability to describe or explain financial concepts, and provide clear instructions to others
- Ability to prepare clear and concise financial reports
