Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and support existing core Microsoft platforms such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Skype for Business, Remote Desktop Services, Windows Update Services, and other Microsoft enterprise products.
- Maintain and support Windows Hyper-V Virtual Compute environment.
- Provide design proposals for current and future data center initiatives.
- Perform ongoing maintenance and performance tuning of existing data center infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure that a consistent and scalable framework is applied across the data center.
- Work with vendors on evaluating new technology and resolving incidents.
- Assist with cloud migration initiatives.
- Mentor and coach team members.
**Required Skills**:
- Relevant Post-Secondary Degree, College Diploma or equivalent certifications and/or experience.
- Capacity to work autonomously with limited supervision.
- Analytical problem solver that adheres to best practice solutions.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Advanced Microsoft (MCSE) or similar industry certifications.
- Experience with enterprise storage solutions.
- Experience with Azure Cloud.
- Experience with end to end management of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Remote Desktop Services, Hyper-V and other enterprise offerings from Microsoft.
