Full-time Dental Administrator

Our state-of-the-art practice in the North Oshawa area is seeking an eager, passionate, and energetic Dental Receptionist to join our growing team. We are searching for someone that has a passion for dentistry and their learning of it, is customer service oriented, is dependable, flexible, and able to work with little instruction.
As a Dental Administrator, you’ll have the opportunity to use your creative skills to establish new patient relationships and develop administrative processes that support high customer service to our patients.
What we desire in an applicant is:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
- Quick to problem solve and resolve patient questions or concerns in a professional manner
- Dental Administration experience, specifically Hygiene Co-Ordinator experience, an asset
- Enthusiasm to attract and retain new patients within our community
- Takes pride and ownership in their role as a Dental Administrator
- Flexibility to work when needed to support our patients and the growth of the practice, this includes evening and weekend (Saturday) availability.
- Working knowledge of Open Dental and/or RecallMax software an asset
What you can expect to be doing:
- Provide top customer service to new and returning patients
- General admin duties, including patient check in and registration, processing patient claims and predeterminations, daily schedule maintenance, accepting patient payments, etc.
- Educating patients on necessary treatment needs and ensuring new patients return for future visits
