Ice & Building Maintenance will participate in all aspects of Abbotsford Centre’s preventative maintenance as well as installation, maintenance and operation of the ice sheet. They work during Abbotsford Canucks games, concerts, and other events. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position.

A typical shift includes
- Assist with the overall daily operation, maintenance and repair of the mechanical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Monitor overall operation of refrigeration plant to ensure efficiency while maintaining a high-quality ice surface
- Install and maintain artificial ice surface and all associated equipment
- Other duties as required

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a start time of approximately 5:30pm
- Must be able to safely lift up to 25 lbs.
- 2-4 years experience in general maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other related venue mechanical systems
- Possession of a valid drivers license
- Specialized training and/or diploma in HVAC maintenance or other related venue mechanical operating system(s)
