The Telesales Assistant Manager will drive the productivity and efficiency of the telesales team(s) under his/her supervision, working with senior management. We are looking for an experienced Inside Telesales Manager with a minimum of 2 years experience in the merchant services industry to join our team. The Telesales Manager will build and lead our great group of inside sales professionals.
**Duties/Responsibilities**
- To motivate, recruit, discipline and manage the Merchant 1 Payments teams directly and through Supervisors;
- To increase productivity through management and motivation of direct reports;
- To manage, motivate, and grow a team of 15-20 agents through concise metrics; provide guidance through weekly and quarterly meetings;
- Complete a variety of initiatives: from developing overall sales strategy and marketing messages, closing sales, solving customer issues, conducting research, assist team in analyzing statements, preparing contract agreements and building strong relationships with the team through one on one coaching and monitoring of calls;
- Conduct sales calls, analyze statements, help close sales and some in-person meetings with prospects.
**Qualifications**
- 2-5 years sales experience at Management level in the merchant acquiring industry;
- Experience in payment processing organization would be considered an asset;
- Experience with recruitment and selection of new sales employees ;
- Strong inside and outside sales management experience;
- Self-motivated individual who is organized, entrepreneurial and willing to work as necessary to meet departmental sales goals and deadliness;
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills;
- Must be comfortable on telephone, cold-calling and coaching his/her team;
