**THE ROLE**
As a Bar and Function Supervisor, you will contribute to an excellent customer experience in the military messes. You will organize, supervise and schedule the day-to-day bar activities for the bar staff for big events and the everyday moments. You will build a rapport with the military community and be part of various military traditions.

The Bar and Function Supervisor will provide administrative support to bar operations and a variety of services such as preparing and serving beverages, maintaining inventory of bar stock and ordering supplies and assisting in the set-up and take down of social and military functions. You will operate a Point of Sales system; prepare reports on cash/inventory transactions such as daily sales reports (DSR) and ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

High school diploma and several years of experience in beverage sector or a related field

Smart Serve Certification or equivalent

Food Handling Certification, as required

A valid driver’s license (Ontario)

**Experience**

Providing and supervising hospitality services

Organizing and planning events, banquets and functions

Bar operations

Budget administration

Cash handling Inventory control

Personnel administration
