Today, our uniquely integrated health care organization includes: Lakeland Long Term Care, six Nursing Stations delivering care to rural communities, management of District ambulance services and dispatch, and a full range of in-patient and out-patient programs associated with a 90-bed acute care hospital.

**About the Opportunity**:
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

**Responsibilities**
- Assists with new hire orientation when required.
- Answers frequently asked questions from job applicants and employees regarding standard policies, benefits, hiring processes etc. Refers more complex questions to appropriate senior level HR staff or management.
- Assists with employee benefit enrollment and benefit changes.
- Participates in labour relations meetings and assists with notetaking and grievance process documentation.
- Assisting with the administration and tracking of employee training, probationary reviews, and annual reviews.

**More About You**:
**Position Requirements**
- Successful completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Pursuing a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- No previous work experience in Human Resources is required.
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, performance levels, disciplinary history, and positive work references.
