Warranty/service Technician

We are a medium size home builder looking to add a full time Service & Warranty Technician. Our company is passionate about home building and strives to continuously exceed customer expectations. Join a team that does what it takes to get the job done right every time.
**Position Overview**
This position requires someone to have strong organizational skills and a solid knowledge of construction with the ability to repair all aspects of a home. Customer service skills and communication skills are essential.
**Role & Responsibilities**
- Meet with homeowners at scheduled appointments for possession & warranty.
- Fix and eliminate deficiency items before the final inspection and possession of the homes
- Assess construction deficiencies on 60 days and 1 year walk through and perform repairs in a timely manner
- Educate homeowners about homeowner maintenance;
- Manage trades contractors during trades days and visits;
- Obtaining homeowners signature on completed items
- Emergency/On Call duties to address situations such as of loss of power/heat or water leaks;
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Service Technician in new home construction with a warranty related background;
- A comprehensive understanding of construction fundamentals and the construction process;
- Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in multiple trade functions such as carpentry, drywall, painting etc.;
- Strong customers service background;
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow;
- Self-motivated with ability to work well independently and as a team;
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
