**What you’ll do**
- Reporting to the Director, Gift & Estate Planning (G&EP), you will support the philanthropic initiatives of the G&EP team. As the Philanthropy Assistant, you will be responsible for a diverse range of activities, including producing gift impact reports, monitoring gratitude calling, and tracking tailored donor stewardship mailed pieces. Your day-to-day activities will also include proactively planning ahead for donor touchpoints, team activities and meetings.
- As the primary support for ensuring excellent donor experiences, you will manage the program contact paths and ensure inquiries are followed up on and maintain donor and legacy prospect records in the database. In addition, you will provide reports to support meetings, monitor the team budget and assist with expense processing and VISA reporting.
- More specifically, you will focus your time in these areas:
- **Philanthropy People Support** - Provide support to the Director and the Philanthropy Officer, including Call Alerts and Debrief Notes, assembling information for donor meetings and mailed response packages, and organizing individual tours/visits. In addition, ensure unique stewardship pieces match donor and gift history. Assist with Director’s calendar and program scheduling.

- A flexible schedule with allows for occasional events and meetings outside of core hours

- This position is based in our office located in Vancouver, BC.
