**INDIGENOUS RELATIONSHIP COORDINATOR (Part-time 3yr Term)**

**Purpose of the position**

The position will be responsible for (but not limited to):

- Advancing partnerships and engagement with Indigenous communities to obtain mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Fostering cultural understanding and competency throughout the organization.
- Leading the preparation of an internal Reconciliation Action Plan.
- Providing legislative and policy analysis.
- Other duties as required.

To be successful in this position, you will:

- Come to us with a Diploma in Indigenous Studies, Community Development, Public/Business Administration, or a related field (required); a degree is preferred.
- Have a minimum of 3yrs progressively responsible intercultural experience, preferably with a focus on working with Indigenous groups.
- Ability to speak an indigenous language is an asset.
- Previous municipal, provincial, federal, and/or Indigenous government experience would be considered an asset.
