As a new concept of dining, it was recognized as the first restaurant of its kind in the area to bring the finest aspects of both Cantonese-style dim sum & Japanese cuisine. Now, we have expanded to 7 locations across the Greater Toronto Area.

- **Responsibilities**_
- Directly responsible for the FOH team, ensuring their adherence to August 8 company policies regarding employment, operational procedures, and health & safety.
- Operates shift with a growth mindset, increasing sales and guest retention.
- Leading, coaching and developing the FOH team in fulfilling the steps of service and all duties both prior to and after service.
- Handles guest issues regarding the dining experience with genuine concern and sincere effort.
- Oversee that all opening and closing duties of the restaurant are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained.
- Flowing the online orders whenever they come in
- Assist in the reduction of operational costs including inventory, supplies, and labor.
- Placing orders with our suppliers, through various channels, at an appropriate level that reflects current or expected business volume.
- Accountable for accurate daily sales reporting.
- Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards in their area.
- Handle guest complaints according to the provided guidelines.

- Job Type: Permanent Full-time
- Work Location: 280 N Service Rd W, Oakville ON, L6M 2S2
- Shift Requirement: Must be flexible for afternoon shifts, 6 days a week
- Compensation: $45,000 to $50,000 per year + generous tips
- **Qualifications**_
- Above 3 years of previous experience in a similar role in the food service or hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and bartending techniques - Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and staff members.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic accounting principles
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must have a food handler certificate.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
