**Janitorial Supervisor**

**Summary of the Role**:
Under the direction of the Director of Operations, this position is responsible for the supervision of office space at multiple locations in the west end of the city (Kanata). The janitorial supervisor must be able to work with the lead hands and light/heavy duty cleaners as well as managing relationships with clients.

**Duties include**:

- Supervising, leading, and coordinating the duties and schedules of staff
- Organizing cleaning schedules
- Acting as a front-line contact for the on-site clients
- Inspecting the facilities to ensure established safety, cleanliness, and service standards are met
- Aiding in the hiring and training of new staff, including route supervisors
- Filling in for cleaners on sick days or off days
- Resolving all deficiencies during normal working hours or after hours
- Reporting the verification of cleaning corrections
- Writing disciplinary notices for unsatisfactory work or behaviour
- Participating in safety and other in-service programs
- Reporting to our Operations department on a daily basis

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrable excellence in leadership and quality assurance
- Extensive experience in customer-service focused environments
- Must be able to obtain security clearance
- A keen interest in growing with a dynamic company
- Be able to work flexible hours at multiple locations (some weekends)
- Ability to work under pressure
- English - French and/or Spanish definite assets
- Computer literate an asset
- Valid driver’s license is a must
- Proof of COVID vaccination required

We will provide vehicle and cell phone (for work purposes) and a very competitive compensation plan.

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
