Main Duties
- Report for duty punctually wearing the correct and clean uniform, name badge and shoes
- Bring a good attitude to work and contribute to a positive and professional work environment
- Be aware of, and practice the basic rules of sanitation, hygiene, safety, breakage and accident prevention
- Perform regular inspections of the premises and ensure that any hazardous condition or required repairs are reported to the supervisor or manager promptly
- Clean and ensure the general maintenance of all Clubhouse areas including bathrooms, locker rooms, lobby, entrances, lounges, terrace, dining room, Halfway Hut and offices
- Maintain Clubhouse and Golf Shop washrooms and locker rooms:

- Vacuum, disinfect and tidy; wash and disinfect showers; issue lockers to guests; shine shoes
- Monitor and replenish towels, washroom amenities, janitorial supplies and shoe polish
- Perform custodial duties including: clean windows, shovel snow, dust, polish & clean furniture, clean and maintain fixtures and fittings
- Remove and dispose of trash
- Maintain and wash towels, rags and kitchen uniforms and keep the laundry room clean and tidy
- Assist with moving of furniture and fixtures
- Paint and do minor repairs as required
- Take initiative in keeping the premises clean and hazard free
- Report any supply shortages to the supervisor or manager
- May be required to document inspection and maintenance activities
- Assist fellow workers in their duties whenever possible

Supervises
- No supervisory duties

Work Environment
- Fast-paced and demanding environment during events and high demand/peak periods
- May be exposed to chemical cleaning products, paints, solvents and other dangerous substances requiring the incumbent to be aware of and practice material handling and WHMIS 2015 protocols
- May be exposed to hot temperatures (item and surfaces), sharp implements, steam and noise. Deemed a Safety Sensitive Position
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting and pulling
- Standing and on your feet for extended periods of time

Work Hours
- Work hours may include; weekends, weekdays and holiday shifts, early mornings and late evening shifts
- Overtime may be required during peak periods

Education/Certifications/Work Experience & Skills
- Knowledge and experience with standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment is an asset
- Prior work experience/training with WHMIS 2015 an asset
- Able to read and understand labels, instructions and procedures (English)
- Able to take direction and complete tasks as directed
- Able to organize and complete work tasks with mínimal supervision
- Able to work effectively with mínimal supervision
- Communication skills must be sufficient to effectively interface with staff and members
