**Main Duties**:

- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of assigned areas, including the building entrance, stairwells, passenger waiting areas, restrooms, administrative offices, conference rooms, and employee cafeteria.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors, ensuring they are clean and free of debris.
- Neutralize calcium on winter carpets and floor surfaces.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and windows.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including countertops, sinks, mirrors, toilet seats and bowls, urinals, and metal partitions. Replenish supplies of soap, paper towel, and toilet paper.
- Clean and sanitize employee cafeteria, including cabinet doors, drawers, countertops, sinks, refrigerators, microwaves, tables and chairs.
- Empty recycling and waste bins and dispose of materials properly.
- Assist with occasional deep cleaning projects as required.
- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner.

**Job Requirements and Conditions**:

- 1-2 years of related experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Must be able to safely lift and carry heavy loads up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable transportation to the Ottawa VIA Rail Station.

**Description of Skills Required**:

- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
- Basic understanding of safety and sanitation standards.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

**Available Hours and Schedule**:

- 25-30 hours per week.
- 5 days per week, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM (or 11:00 PM).
- Monday to Friday, but must be available to work a weekend shift occasionally

**Additional Information**:

- Uniform and personal protective equipment will be provided.
- Required trainings will be provided.
