Multimedia Sales Support/administration

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Multimedia Sales Support/Administration. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional sales support, project management, and administrative assistance to our sales staff. You will play a crucial role in coordinating supplements and special features, managing circulation, processing payments, and performing various administrative duties. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a dynamic team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with the sales staff to project manage supplements and special features
- Sell advertising space for walk-ins, obituaries/memorials, and small ads in the classifieds
- Manage circulation and ensure efficient newspaper distribution
- Perform ad control using Naviga and ensure accuracy in content placement
- Handle administrative duties, including data entry, proofing, and collection of payments
- Manage subscription renewals and record attendance for payroll processing
- Process payments and prepare daily cash sheets
- Sell and edit classified ads, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist with office administration tasks and provide support to other departments as needed
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while delivering exceptional customer service
- Previous customer service experience in retail, advertising, sales, or service industry
- Proven project management experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Undergraduate degree in business administration or office administration (preferred)
- Strong data-entry skills
- Reception or office administration experience (preferred)
- Copy-editing experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet hard deadlines efficiently and work independently
- Positive and friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues
- Professional, organized, punctual, and conscientious approach to work
- Team player willing to provide support to other departments
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven open office environment with frequent interruptions and noise
- Effective communicator with above average command of written English grammar and spelling
- Very good working knowledge of MS Office with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new software programs
Job Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience in retail, advertising, sales, or service industry
- Proven project management experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Undergraduate degree in business administration or office administration (preferred)

This position offers a commission structure for business classifieds, small client list, obits/memorials, and supplements.
**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour
