Retail Sales Supervisor

Overview As a Sales Supervisor at Staples, you will lead a team to provide exceptional customer experiences, drive sales, and maintain operational excellence. Responsibilities Customer Engagement: Model and coach our selling model, engaging customers and motivating associates. Sales Execution: Demonstrate high customer engagement, maximise sales, and communicate promotional items. Team Leadership: Cultivate a selling culture, learn and teach new trends, products, and services; partner with store leaders to set and execute sales goals and targets. Operational Excellence: Support operational excellence and store brand standards; supervise health & safety, loss prevention, and policies and procedures. Training & Development: Conduct training of associates and inspire continuous learning and development. Administrative Duties: Ensure safe opening/closing, handle timekeeping, payroll tasks, and maintain compliance with health & safety and asset protection standards. Qualifications 3+ years of retail sales experience; direct experience in technology sales preferred. 1-2 years of supervisory experience with direct accountability for sales and service targets. Strong communication skills to inspire customers and associates. Ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment with strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
