**The opportunity**:
**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:

- Collaborating with the CEOS Director and membership to identify and develop research and outreach initiatives.
- Leading outreach and communication activities, including events, media relations, school programming, and social media.
- Acting as a liaison with the University's Marketing and Communications Office and Dean's Office.
- Participating in scientific activities including data analysis, reporting, and manuscript preparation.
- Occasional travel to represent CEOS at conferences, workshops, and outreach events.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in ocean, Earth, biological sciences, geography, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in Arctic and/or freshwater research, program coordination, fieldwork, and outreach.
- Strong experience in developing outreach materials, social media, and public communication.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design software (Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Familiarity with University of Manitoba policies is an asset.

Pay: $52,470.60-$73,946.60 per year
