We are currently seeking an experienced landscaping professional for the position of **Maintenance Coordinator**. The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the proactive coordination of estate maintenance through the use of sub-trades and internal FOSSIL team members. The Maintenance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring customer communication and satisfaction, monitoring property aesthetics and maintenance standards and accurately forecasting maintenance needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Account management and client relations
- Coordination of work with a large variety of sub-trades relating to estate maintenance
- Ongoing development of pool of sub-trades
- Proactive estate monitoring and oversight
- Training and development of maintenance crew
- On site hands on estate maintenance and horticulture work as needed

**Selection Criteria**
- Tertiary education in Horticulture or Landscape Design or Red Seal
- Career gardener / landscape maintenance professional with a background in high end estate maintenance
- Excellent problem solving skills and a proven effective relationship builder with clients, suppliers, subtrades, management and staff at all levels of the business
- A detailed and thorough understanding of plant material, soil types, plant health and nutrition, pest control, irrigation systems and landscape construction methods
- Not afraid to get your hands dirty and get amongst the work with the crew
