**Overview**
Ping DSP Inc is an internationally respected leader in the development and production of 3D imaging and hydrographic survey sonars and is seeking a **Junior Application Consultant** to join our growing team.

The position will involve:

- helping with technical support
- assisting with collection of underwater mapping and visualization data sets
- assisting with the processing of collected data
- helping to maintain and update Product Manuals and Quick Start Guides
- assisting with customer training

The position will be on site in our office at the Deep Cove Marina in North Saanich and may include occasional travel.

**Requirements**:

- **Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident**:

- Education or experience in **geography or surveying**:

- Strong aptitude for **mapping and technology** (e.g. GPS systems, computer networks, GIS etc)
- Strong aptitude for **problem solving**:

- Excellent **verbal communication skills in english**:

- Strong interest in **helping customers**:

- Excellent **organizational and time management skills**:

- **High integrity and career oriented**:

- Desire to promote responsible **stewardship of underwater environments**
