**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
As an Air Cargo Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising, training, and ensuring safety around the aircraft, with a focus on the safe and proper securing of regular and oversized cargo on board the aircraft. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supervise Load Masters and coordinate their activities.
- Supervise and coordinate the loading and unloading of cargo on board aircraft.
- Train and mentor ground personnel on securing procedures and safety standards.
- Regularly inspect securing equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and airline requirements for cargo.
- Work in collaboration with the Dash-8 and B737 chief pilots on specific cargo securing procedures.
- Accompany flight crews on cargo and combi flights to ensure proper securing and balanced load distribution.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Load Master or in a similar role in the air freight industry. Experience in port or railway operations may also be considered.
- In-depth knowledge of securing procedures and safety standards for air freight.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Availability to work on a rotational schedule of 15 days ON / 13 days OFF.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate in at least two of the following languages: Inuktitut, French, English.
- Ability to hold a Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Valid driver's license.
- Good physical health.
- Commercial pilot license is an asset.
