***POSITION OVERVIEW**

The first function of the supervisor is to manage the operations of the CRS (Check-in & Reservation System) department. He oversees the cooperation of his team with internal and external customers and ensures the Check-in and Reservation Systems are functional and efficient.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Inform users of the planned updates by the different service providers and prepare contingency plans, if necessary;
- Project coordination for newly contracted products;
- Elaborate and maintain training manuals (reservations, DCS, IROPS, schedule creation);
- Constantly be aware of the different systems’ innovations and react accordingly;
- Coordinate schedule distributions to airport authorities and other world agencies;
- Coordinate communications with the different service providers; reservations system, myIDTravel, etc.;
- Participate in the upkeep of the departments supervisors’ qualifications;
- Develop and submit innovative solutions to problems identified by the users;
- Follow and document the market’s policy tendencies;
- Elaborate and maintain a staff training manual for the reservation system;
- Train company employees and handling company employees and their respective trainers;
- Establish an annual training schedule for the different departments;
- Work with the Pricing, Disitribution and E-Commerce Specialist to maintain passenger, cargo and charter tariffs;
- Maintain and update the department’s manual;
- Ensure the accuracy of the different network statistics;
- Prepare projects for Commercial Operations’ needs.

***QUALIFICATIONS**
- Extensive knowledge of the ameliaRES reservation system (reservations, ticketing, DCS);
- Be familiar with OAG, ATPCO, the different GDSs (Sabre, Galileo and Amadeus) and airport authorities;
- Knowledge of Air Inuit’s operational and reservation policies;
- Knowledge of airline ticketing and different industry fares and tariffs;
- Be bilingual (French/English). The ability to speak Inuktitut would be an asset;
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Office;
- Airport experience, an asset;
- Be pro-active in the search for solutions;
- Good communication and classroom teaching skills;
- Possess leadership abilities;
- Be available to travel to the north for training sessions;
- Possibility to travel outside the country for training sessions.

**REMUNERATION**

The salary is determined according to the company’ compensation policy.
