Aurora Land is searching for an authentic professional to work their magic as a Full-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to keep our Edmonton, AB office running smoothly. If you are highly organized, self-motivated and most importantly, enjoy being the first point of contact, we would like to hear from you
**You will be responsible for**:
- Managing and monitoring reception area
- Processing, tracking and distributing incoming and outgoing mail/couriers
- Printing courier invoices and matching them to the packing slips
- Ordering all office and kitchen supplies as well as maintaining the office and kitchens
- Maintaining various filing systems digitally and hard copies
- Maintaining records retention, scanning documents
- Arranging service calls for office equipment
- Arranging all social events
- Providing assistance to the Land Administration team and overall office staff
- Running errands as required
- Other administrative tasks as needed
**What we are looking for**:
- 2+ years of Reception/Administrative Assistant in a business environment
- Post secondary Office Administration education (certificate or diploma) is preferred
- Experience in a project-based billable work environment is preferred, but not required
- Must be computer literate and have experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to build positive relationships and provide great customer service
- Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Accurate data entry skills, ability to follow direction and procedure manuals
- Understands and demonstrates professionalism
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Be able to lift approx. 20-30lbs (records retention boxes, deliveries, supply shopping etc.)
- Be able to do stairs to the second floor based on physical building layout
- Willingness to learn and try new tasks
