**Overview**:
Mancor Industries is a world class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that uses state of the art machining and fabrication techniques to produce high value add, cost effective products for our strategic partners in the North American Truck and Heavy Duty equipment industries.

The position will also drive activities to remove waste from inspection activities, suggest alternate methods of inspection while adhering to all customer requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Measure First Piece Samples (FPS), Engineering Samples and In-process Inspections and provide accurate and timely feedback relevant departments
- Use the Portable Roamer Arm/Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to effectively measure components and assemblies.
- Supports PPAP process by measuring and preparing detailed and accurate layouts, road maps
- Proactively communicates with all internal departments as required to resolve Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing challenges. Dispositions material in the CMM lab in a timely manner.
- Ensure all inspection records are stored and retrievable for review when the need arises
- Ensure all parts submitted for inspection gets inspected and dispositioned in a timely manner.
- Supports Gage calibration process and related activities i.e GR&R
- Ability identify improvements to the current inspection process and suggest and implement changes
- Keep the equipment and the work station clean at all times.
- Contact outside technical support services when needed for CMM/Roamer arm software support
- Other related duties as assigned

**Education and Experience**:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience operating a portable of a Roamer Arm (Scanner) and CMM machine in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge/Experience using polyworks
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment a definite asset
- Must demonstrate a strong ability to read and understand detailed component, sub assembly and assembly drawings
- Strong understanding of GD&T a must
- Must be able read, write and comprehend in English
- Excellent planning and organizational skill
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
