**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble structural elements such as joists, rafters, and beams
- Framing, drywall, and trimming
- Custom cabinetry installation
- Measure, mark, cut, and trim wood to specified sizes and shapes.
- Strip wood surfaces of paint and coatings.
- Examine blueprints and drawings to determine lumber quantities and materials.
- Measure material according to building plans.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Three (3) years experience as a finish carpenter, renovation carpenter, framer, cabinet assembler / installer and/or woodworker is an asset
- Able to use hand tools safely and properly
- Must be able to operate all of the following equipment efficiently and safely: table saw, band saw, mitre saw, nail guns, staple guns, impact drills, hand tools and use of a tape measure
- You must be able to read and understand architectural drawings
- You must know how to read a tape measure up to 1/8 of an inch.
- You must have your own tool belt and hand tools.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to solve problems and look for creative solutions
- Valid G-class Driver's License
- Reliable transportation to and from work

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
