We are currently seeking a dynamic Transport Planner/Logistic Planner (Router) to join our team and optimize our delivery operations.

**Job Summary**:
As a Transport Planner/Logistic Planner, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our delivery processes. You will be responsible for route optimization, fleet and driver management, and ensuring cost-effective and efficient delivery operations. This role combines technical expertise with leadership and organizational skills to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Route Planning**: Develop efficient delivery routes based on customer demands, truck availability, and unloading requirements.
- **Logistics Management**: Coordinate and manage logistics arrangements for supplies from Local and suppliers from across North America to our warehouse and distribution points.
- **Fleet Management**: Optimize truck space utilization and route planning to reduce delivery costs and improve efficiency.
- **Scheduling**: Prepare detailed loading and driver sheets, ensuring accurate and clear route assignments for daily operations.
- **Coordination**: Work closely with warehouse teams and supervisors to enhance loading and delivery effectiveness.
- **Pick-Up Orders**: Assign pick-up orders to drivers and ensure timely collection from suppliers.
- **Monitoring**: Review and adjust routes based on daily discrepancies and performance evaluations.
- **Tracking**: Monitor truck mileage and working hours to ensure accurate future planning and compliance.
- **Safety**: Implement and uphold strict safety standards for personnel and road operations.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years in logistics, route planning, or fleet management, with a track record of managing drivers and vehicles.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in route planning and fleet management software.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong integrity and commitment to work.

**Abilities**:

- Learn and operate business tools effectively.
- Assess, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain detailed records and handle operational issues.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, employees, and supervisors.

**Tools Required**:

- Bondable.
- PPE (provided by Yen Bros. Food Service Limited).

**Working Conditions**:

- Warehouse office setup with occasional site visits.
- Fast-paced cooler/freezer warehouse environment.
- Flexible working hours as required by operational needs.

**Physical Demands**:

- Ability to walk, lift, push, pull, and carry product samples (up to 20 kg).
- Sitting, walking, and bending as needed.
- Constant hand-eye coordination and computer use.

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Full-time, permanent position.
