Kamloops Truss is currently seeking **a Roller Truck Operator **to join our team in **Kamloops, BC. **Operators require a clean Class 5 driver's license with the heavy haul endorsement. Experience with hauling and manovering trailers for deliveries is essential.

Our Roller Truck Drivers are responsible for driving our new one tone, dual wheel pickup trucks with customized goose neck trailers, designed specific for hauling and offloading floor and truss packages. Our drivers provide courteous, safe, on-time deliveries of engineered wood floor and truss packages throughout the Thompson Okanagan and surrounding areas, returning home each night. Vehicle inspections, minor repairs, maintenance, participation in health and safety related duties,and assistance with various tasks within our shipping department are also required.

- Knowledge and understanding of commercial driving regulations.
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
- Ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures.
- Ability to problem solve and think critically.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to be highly flexible and prioritize multiple tasks with good time management skills.
- Able to lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs. and navigate job site terrain in all weather conditions.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Follow safe work procedures and all Kamloops Truss policies and procedures.
- Perform all deliveries and services safely and efficiently, following all provincial and federal regulations including but not limited to WorkSafeBC, Ministry of Transportation, and CVSE for the operation of the vehicle you are operating.
- Maintenance and general cleanliness of vehicle and work areas within Kamloops Truss.
- Assist with pick up truck deliveries as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Complete online safety orientation and quiz
- Valid Class Five (5) Driver’s License and minimum Heavy Haul Endorsement
- Clean “N” Driver’s abstract - required semi-annually

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00/hr. based on a combination of skills and experience

**Schedule**:Monday to Friday - Times vary depending on loads
