Our one-of-a-kind cocktail lounge and North Shore distillery is at the forefront of that mission. Located in the middle of the Shipyards Brewery District in North Vancouver, we have established ourselves as the top cocktail bar on the North Shore - three years running. Located steps from Lonsdale Quay and a scenic 15 minute Seabus ride from downtown Vancouver, we’re building a world-class team to deliver local and internationally inspired cocktails, food pairings, and unforgettable memories for all that visit. Copperpenny serves up our award-winning BC spirits to a lively audience of customers to local fans and travellers from all over Vancouver and the world.

In this role you’ll be immersed in both the fascinating world of craft spirit development and production, as well as delivering amazing cocktails utilizing our unique spirits to the people. Just as important, you’ll be intimately involved in spirit education and the often-mysterious histories and legends that come with the liquor industry, now and in the past. You’ll be working closely with your crew to deliver the best service possible on the bar and floor. Surrounded by seven other breweries and cideries in just a two block radius, the Shipyards Brewery District is unquestionably a hotspot destination for city residents and visitors alike.

You’ll be led by an experienced management team alongside a crew of passionate & confident individuals - we treat our lounge like our living room. And patio. And bar. And garage. And après hangout. You get it. Live music, private VIP speakeasy rooms, and a large event venue for bigger crowds - there will never be a shortage of activity at Copperpenny, and we’d love you to be a part of it.

Copperpenny Distilling is on the hunt for experienced cocktail bartenders looking to utilize their passion of the craft to join an already sterling team at our brand home tasting room and cocktail lounge.

The successful applicant would be a capable, knowledgeable, cocktail-orientated bartender who is equally confident in a high-volume bar environment as well as an interactive spirits educator (we are happy to grow your knowledge). Experience in high-volume cocktail bartending is essential. A passion for gin (our flagship, globally-recognized spirit), creativity and inspirational service is a must - as well as an interest in distillation and a great team culture.
