Position Overview:
The Assistant Spa Manager possesses a warm and caring demeanor with an interest in health and wellness. Her primary focuses will include overseeing reception operations ensuring excellent client satisfaction and maintaining a robust retail sales program. She will act as a supervisor when the Spa Manager is absent.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Supervise the client experience to Body Blitz Spa standards.
- Lead retail operations including generating sales through product knowledge, merchandising, replenishment and promotions.
- Assist in developing and maintaining Body Blitz Spa team members’ customer service and retail sales skills through ongoing coaching. Train new front desk staff and train front desk staff on new processes and procedures.
- Assign tasks, ensure the optimization of scheduling.
- Contribute to performance reviews by providing Spa Management with feedback on the performance of team members prior to their review. Create positive ways to motivate and show appreciation to each member of the team.
- Ensure that daily performance and operations recaps are thorough and sent to management at end of day.
- Assist Management in the preparation of deposits and Petty Cash reports.
- Assist Management with monthly inventory counts and cleaning checklists.
- Assist with customer calls and front desk responsibilities as needed
- Supervise and perform technical duties to maintain pool equipment and pool testing, function of steam, sauna, phones & computer systems.
- Ensure thorough sanitization procedures are in place and consistently utilized within the spa and that these are adhered strictly by all members of the Body Blitz Spa team.
- Ensure physical space meets and exceeds client’s expectation. Advise Spa Manager of any deficiencies that require a higher level of attention.

**Requirements**:

- Availability to work some evenings/weekend shifts
- First Aid training certified
- Food Handler’s certification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
