Breakthrough Speech & Language Therapy is a private speech and language clinic looking for a passionate Communicative Disorders Assistant who wishes to be part of a team of friendly and supportive clinicians.

We offer services both in-clinic, virtually and in the community to preschool and school-aged children. Services to teens and adults who stutter are also offered. Position Responsibilities:

- Provide a mix of clinic-based and virtual speech and language therapy services
- Evening (once per week) availability is an asset
- Collaborate with colleagues and family members
- Maintain records in keeping with CASLPO standards

Qualifications as a Communicative Disorders Assistant
- CDA Graduate Certificate from a known college
- Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
- Recent Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Proficient in providing evidence-based speech language pathology interventions to preschool and school-aged children
- Experience working with children with a variety of needs
- Excellent time-management, organization skills, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Additional training in any of the following is an asset: Hanen approaches, PROMPT, fluency, PECS

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
