Established in 2002, we specialize in Commercial and Institutional Glazing projects. The scopes include Exterior Glass: Curtain Walls, Window Walls, Storefronts and Entrances and Glass Canopies. Interior Glass: Sliding Doors, Swing Doors and Fixed Walls

Sky Windows is looking for an experienced **Glazing Estimator; **this position is responsible for providing profitable cost estimates for new/existing products, designs, repairs and presenting the quotes to customers.
- Prepare work to be estimated by gathering and evaluating proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documentation.
- Estimate all production costs by analyzing labor, material and time requirements, by taking in consideration the cost of raw materials, labor, equipment, tools and transportation as the basic factor for cost estimates.
- Have the ability to clearly communicate with clients to understand their needs, struggles and considerations to help bring a project to completion that satisfy their expectations
- Can help bring a sale to completion by assisting the team in requirement gathering and other customer facing activities
- Will be responsible for helping to achieve organizational sales targets
- Review estimate elements for adequacy, uniformity, and completeness, ensuring cost-based accuracy, as well as timely preparation of relevant documentation in accordance with Company standards and guidelines.
- Effectively communicate Company related requirements and specifications, regarding products and services, with customers and vendors.
- Monitor any change orders and communicate the price-effect of those change orders with customers. Compute cost factors and prepare itemized cost worksheets and any other required documentation and actions.
- Ensure installation is completed as required based upon the customers schedule.
- Audit comprehensive job costing results and use them to continuously improve the estimation process.
- Ability to coordinate with sales in a highly responsive fashion to help speed up the sales process and serve the customer with the utmost consideration
- Maintain all quotation and proposal records as required by Company policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A minimum years (3) years glazing industry experience providing accurate and detailed estimates to our customers within prescribed timeframes.
- Have experience in the sales process and understand how estimating can support it
- Knowledge of glass industry dynamics and glazing products (fixed glazing, aluminum and glass storefronts, doors, and interior glass)
- Successful track record of estimating interior and exterior glazing projects
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel

Salary dependent on experience:
**Salary**: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
