Materials Analyst

Reporting to the Materials Manager of Oakville Kerr Street, and working to provide support to the materials department, the successful applicant will:

- Assume responsibility for vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and components to support production. Follow up with any vendor issues as required.
- Prepare weekly production schedule and distribute to the production department, ensuring customer delivery timelines are met.
- Track inventory and ensure inventory accuracy, meeting financial and KPI requirements.
- Coordinate cycle counting activities, ensuring inventory accuracy. Update inventory as required.
- Issue all non-production PO’s and all IPR’s to add parts to blanket orders or for PPAP parts.
- Perform all MRO buying activities for the facility.
- Perform National Brand order entry to ensure timely delivery.
- Responsible for facility receiving, enter receivers to reflect delivery.
- Provide back up for the Materials Scheduler, as required.
- Complete all other duties, as required.

**Education and/or Experience**:

- Completion of a related college and/or university program in materials or business.
- Completion of CPIM or in progress.
- 3-5 years’ experience in materials, scheduling or production planning.

**Job Requirements**:

- Intermediate computer skills (Office, Outlook).
- Excellent communications skills both verbally and electronically to permit effective interaction with all levels of Dana and external vendors, customers and suppliers.
- Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
- Must meet the company performance standards for the job.
- Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
- Self-directed and motivated, with excellent organizational skills, and ability to keep calm in stressful situations.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- SAP Supply Chain Management: 2 years (preferred)
