The Product Content Coordinatorwill be a focal point for driving the Product Information Management (PIM) system (Plytix) that is the source of the most accurate, complete, and up to date product information across the company. This role’s primary purpose is to create and develop content, processes and systems that make accurate and comprehensive product information available to both internal teams and external stakeholders, including retail platform syndication.

The Product Content Coordinator will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the creation and maintenance of high-quality product information assets. They will be overseeing the implementation and operation of the PIM system, ensuring data accuracy, and facilitating efficient data distribution across various channels.
- **Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:_
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the PIM system, including configuration, data modeling, and data governance.
- Work with third parties to develop and create high-quality and consistent product information content and graphics, including drafting product descriptions using existing templates and working with graphic designers to create product information graphics.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments as needed to integrate the PIM system with other enterprise systems to facilitate seamless data flow.
- Manage the syndication of product data to external channels, including e-commerce websites, marketplaces, and retail partners.
- Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to derive insights from product information, helping to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain data security measures within the PIM system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales teams, product managers, marketing teams, and IT to align PIM activities with business goals.
- Develop and deliver training for PIM system users and stakeholders. Define and enforce data quality standards, ensuring that product information is accurate, complete, and consistent across all platforms and channels.
- Implement the data integration features within the PIM to collect and share information with external systems.
- Develop and maintain a product taxonomy and classification system that enhances data organization and improves searchability.
- Implement workflow automation processes within the PIM to streamline data entry, approval, and distribution.
- Gather feedback from various sources, including customers and internal teams, to continuously improve product information content and processes. Conducting regular audits of the PIM and brands to identify any inconsistencies or gaps in information.
- **Required Skills and Experience**:_
- 1-3 years experience in a PIM management role.
- Experience in creating and managing Product information data internally.
- Strong English written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong knowledge of PIM management and best practices.
- Prior experience with metadata input, organizing large amounts of files, and file naming conventions.
- Well organized and highly structured individual, with ability to give attention to detail.
- Self-starter that can work independently and identify process improvements proactively.
