Chabot is Now Hiring**:Traffic Control Coordinator / Construction Safety Assistant (for Heavy Construction)**

Project Locations: various locations within the Capital Region; head office in Bird’s Hill/ Oakbank area

Jobsite locations: Bird’s Hill, Selkirk, Gull Lake, Winnipeg and Capital region, others as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Traffic Control Coordinator training
- HS&E training or designation, an asset
- Minimum 1 years heavy construction sector experience
- Train-the-trainer training an asset
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and written
- Strong organization skills and ability to multitask
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take on new duties
- Physically capable without restrictions and able to lift 20+ lbs

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Development and Field-level Enforcement of Safety program elements
- Conduct Toolbox meetings
- Conduct Site Inspections
- Workplace, Safety, Health and Environment Committee meetings
- PPE inventory management
- Traffic planning and site signage planning for projects
- Other duties as assigned
