THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you ready for an exciting career as a Testing and Development Technician? We are searching for a key team player to streamline testing procedures, guaranteeing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and unwavering quality you put while meeting deadlines. You will work collaboratively across teams, align with business goals and enhancing safety and technology integration. Responsible for conducting rigorous testing protocols to verify and validate the quality and performance of our products, ensuring they meet our high quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Testing and Development Technician, you will:

- Execute comprehensive tests to determine and evaluate the performance characteristics of new products, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards and performance requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address challenges, implement solutions, and align testing efforts with business goals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Utilize CAD/CAM design systems to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build prototypes of new products, incorporating feedback from testing processes to refine design and ensure manufacturability.
- Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of product designs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Provide valuable insights and recommendations for improving product design based on knowledge gained through testing programs, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the testing and development process, prioritizing the safety of our products and end-users.
- Maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, troubleshooting processes, and repairs, and ensure adherence to quality control systems and testing procedures to uphold product quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

As the Testing and Development Technician, you will bring:

- Technology Diploma in engineering or relevant practical experience.
- Experience with testing equipment, CAD/CAM design systems, and data acquisition is an asset.
- Hands-on experience in testing, preferably in the automotive industry is an asset.
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
