**A day in the life**:
We are currently seeking Materials Testing Technicians to join our business in Winnipeg, MB.

As a Materials Testing Technician, you will be:

- Maintaining orderliness of laboratory
- Preparing of inspection reports and data entry
- Field Concrete testing
- Field Compaction testing
- Lab Work, which will include:

- Sieve Analysis
- Proctors
- Cylinder Breaking
- CSA calibrations
- Moisture Contents
- Hydrometers
- Unconfined compression testing
- Following WSP E&I’s Project Review, Ethics and Safety Policies

**What you'll bring to WSP...**:

- Geological, Construction or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma
- Laboratory testing exposure
- Experience with test procedures for concrete, aggregate, soil and asphalt
- Knowledge of CSA, ASTM, and Provincial Materials Test Methods
- An approach to tasks that is detail oriented, organized and team oriented
- Unrestricted Class 5 Driver's License that is valid in the province of Manitoba
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors for long days in rough terrain, harsh elements
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to lift independ
